Orange, Connecticut- 11/09/08: Ernest L. Heaton of Florida, one of only three remaining World War II veterans who survived the U-Boat submarine torpedo sinking of the Dorchester in the Atlantic Ocean near Greenland in February 3, 1943, speaks during a Veterans Day remembrance at Congregation Or Shalom in Orange,"Remembering 'The Four Chaplains': A Survivor Speaks". The event is honoring the memory of the heroic Four Chaplains, who gave their lives so others my live in the Dorchester sinking and also the Krystallnacht of Hitler's Germany on November 9-10 of 1938.
